If you know someone that likes to write, or is planning a trip, or expecting a baby, Chintzy Bev has worked her "magic" and put together some awesome, and I do mean, awesome journals! I always enjoy writing and I know many others do as well, especially in journals. When I saw these journals in Bev's case, I was SO impressed! Journals are a great way to document different times in your life that you want to remember, or better yet to pass down to your kids, and grandkids to have later in life. Several years ago when my kids were in elementary school, I had a friend that was dying of cancer. I begged her to leave "something" behind for her eight year old daughter so that later in life her daughter would still have a part of the mom she had lost at a young age. I had bought my friend a journal, and only wish I could have got one for her as beautiful as the one's the Bev has for sale. They would make a great gift for any occasion. The other day while I was looking at Chintzy Bev's great stuff, I saw this! Come on, I'm not the only one that thinks this is wonderful, right? It is a faux ivory alarm clock, and I love it! It is in running order, but of course like all of our stuff at Country Roads, we can't guarantee that. Like all our old treasures at Country Roads, due to this cute little clocks age, it has been oiled to keep it happy!! You do know how temperamental old vintage stuff gets? To sass up this cute little clock, over the years some birds & wings, with a few rhinestones to "glitz" it up have been added. After all, we all like to sparkle in life. Spooky & Scary!!

Along with all the beautiful chintz that Ms.Beverly has, she has another surprise for you!! Her entire case is filled with many "treats" for Halloween. Do you think that above picture looks sweet and innocent?Guess again, see what I mean? I meant to get this post up last week, but the photos I took didn't show the pure evil in "the eyes"!!Here is another cute little girl, with such angelic smile, and oh so innocent! Would you ever imagine this child could look like this? I have to admit, when I was taking these pictures, these photos, or "holograms" really do frighten you! The holograms are done by Edward Allen's Haunted Memories Portraits. According to "Flash News" Allen has a great line of spooky, hologram photographs of Victorian people that shift into scary beings, like demons and zombies. Allen says, "I have quite a few in my house. They're my adopted family, kind of like an extended Addams Family! They each have a family name too, like Aunt Polly. Most people are creeped out by the children." You have to see these for yourself to understand what I'm talking about. Chintzy Beverly has these in stock and they are sign by Allen himself. And believe it or not, they are priced at only $79 each. I know these aren't going to sell fast! If you are into Halloween, this is a must have!!

More Chintz From "Chintzy Bev"

Here are some more wonderful pieces of chintz for sale from Bev's own private collection. This little piece is a Royal Winton globe shaped "Sweet Pea" jug. It is in beautiful condition and is about 4-1/2 inches tall. Bev has it priced at $150.00.If you are a beginning collector, this little Royal Winton "Esther" shell shaped dish would be a great starter piece. It's priced at only $35.00, it's about 4-1/4 inches, and like all of Bev's pieces, it too is in wonderful condition!This last piece is a cute little teapot which holds four cups! Chintzy Beverly has been SO busy. I came to the store the other day and her case was filled to the brim with great merchandise! Sometimes its tough to think of gifts to give our loved ones and friends for special occasions. I personally like to give things that are different than you see everyday. Paris, Chic and More!

Bev just brought is some a good selection of these cute "chic" embellished small bottles. They are too cute and a one of kind treasure thanks to Bev's talents!Also, there are several more little perfume bottles decorated with the look of Paris! Each one is different in its own way and accessorized quite nicely. Bev is also beginning to bring in more handmade Gothic type jewelry. She's got some spider earrings in, and so cool looking Gothic necklaces and a few skulls here and there! I "did" have some pictures of those too, but my photos came out blurred. A few posts ago, I mentioned to you something about the purses that Ms. Chintzy Beverly carries. As you look at these two sassy purses above you can see what I'm talking about. Bev has really been able to show of her own personal style as she has gotten more into her jewelry, bottles and now her purses. They are all one of a kind items, and the purses really are cute. Sassy Little Decorative Bottles!

I've seen many, many seashell bottles lately. Most have a more beachy feel to them. These little shell bottles are very unique with their own touch of "sass". Bev has added a touch of Paris to each one of these little cuties. And each one is just a bit different from the next with its own individual personality. Like Necklaces?

For the longest time, Bev was only known for her chintz. Why? Because she has an awesome collection of it. Now, Miss Beverly not only carries chintz but she's gone artsy on as well! She is making these fantastic necklaces like the one above. I apologize for the blurry picture above. Note to self, "wear glasses when using your camera". If you could see this necklace a bit better, you would notice how awesome it is as well. I love all the little charms Beverly puts on each of her necklaces and bracelets. I am very excited to introduce to you Beverly Holman. She started out many years ago with me at my short lived Long Beach Country Roads. After that store closed she joined us here in Old Towne Orange and has been here ever since.
Recently, Beverly has been making some beautiful jewelery. Some of her necklaces are truly "to die for"! Along with the bracelets, Beverly also has designed some awesome perfume and other bottles.
